So I was walking back home when I heard the voice. And I mean The
Voice - The Voice of Krakow, the Singing Lady, the
whomever-she-is-everybody-know-her-by-now person. The Voice usually
occupies the same spot right in the middle of Grodzka Street and
surrounded by teary grannies provides an aria for free (if you're a
stingy bastard like me). It's a feast for your senses or a depressive
downhill ride. Any way - she's good. Passed The Voice, kept on walking
and I couldn't help but wonder - has she already made it to the tourists
guides? After all, the woman is the Wawel's Dragon for the elders, a
perfect date plug-in for lovers and simply a hero during the winter
time. Who else dares to stand still with their mouth wide open with -10
degrees outside?! Having thought all that I decided it would be nice to
interview her for a magazine*, but hey! I don't work for a magazine. So I
decided to create a blog, a blog on Krakow. May it lead me through my
first year of The Unknown, post-bachelor life in the city.
* The mentioned interview was in fact never conducted. Yet. I'll see what I can do about it.
